Turquoise Bay
Western Australia

Spot details
This pristine bay rims a long curved beach of beautiful white sand. As the name states the water is the most intense turquoise and you don’t have to swim but a couple of metres to see an abundance of coral and tropical fish, turtles, rays to name a few. The bay and beach are part of the national park and there is access all year round. With a permit you can visit and camp anytime. The bay is remote enough for a peaceful stay but close enough for the visitor to duck into Exmouth. But the bay is so gorgeous you won’t want to leave the place! The current out from the sandbar can be strong but if you stay within the bay, with a snorkel and mask, you can leisurely bob along with the fish. It’s magic.
